Overview
Brooks began as Brooks Field in 1917, shortly after the United States entered World War I, was renamed Brooks City-Base in 2002 and closed on September 15, 2011, according to the Air Force Civil Engineer Center. The Brooks Development Authority, created in 2001 by Congress, the State of Texas and the City of San Antonio, has since turned the property into a master-planned, mixed-use community.
Today it is a 1,308-acre community with homes, businesses and a hotel. For residents the practical points are the usual ones for a planned community: any association or management rules on service vehicles, where visitor parking is, and how many floors and stairs are involved. Tell us about them when you book.

I had a wonderful experience with San Antonio Carpet Cleaning today. Sophie was my first point of contact and instrumental in explaining their process to me and how things were done, such as how payment was made, types of cleaning processes that were offered and when she didn’t know, she said “I’ll refer back to my team”and did so. She called back and gave me an answer shortly after. Next she stayed in contact with me for almost a week while I waited to get my carpets cleaned by reaching out via text, email. She also reached out in order to remind me of my appointment. Ryder then showed up at my house today and with a massive smile and a nice handshake was eager to do his job, which was a really nice thing to see. He explained the type of rug I had and why things looked the way they did. He walked me through how to ensure that it dried properly and what to do after when we inspecting and made sure I knew how the warranty worked and to call them back in the allotted time and they would take care of my issue. For these reasons, I am going to continue to utilize this company to start cleaning my entire house.
Glad I waited. Affordable, professional, communication was stellar and the cleaning of my area rug was superb!!!

Our floors look literally spotless. It was affordable, so I will be calling them every now and then to maintain the floor as is. Highly recommend!
