About Olmos Park Terrace
The City's North Central plan says H.C. Thorman, president of Northside Investment Company, developed the area in 1927 under the name Olmos Park Terraces. The City of San Antonio granted the neighborhood historic district status in 2007.
Olmos Park Terrace is one of six neighborhoods covered by the City's North Central Neighborhoods Community Plan, whose area is bounded by Loop 410 on the north, US 281 on the east, Hildebrand on the south and Blanco Road on the west.
Floor cleaning in Olmos Park Terrace: what to tell us
Tell us the floor type and the square footage, or send photos. If it is vinyl or LVT, tell us the brand, and tell us about any sealer, wax or finish put down before and any past water damage, since that changes what we can and cannot promise.
Before we arrive, clear small and fragile items off the floor and secure pets.
San Antonio Water System reports typical hardness around 15 to 20 grains per gallon, hard enough to leave a mineral film on tile and in grout, which is why a rinse matters more here than it would elsewhere.
If your floors are original to an older home or building, say so, along with any finish put down since.
